So I have no idea, how I managed to come up with these bows, but when I finally did.. These bow earrings are my favourite of all. They are just so unique. I used silver wire as alwaysa and the bows are made of organze fabric. I love bows'!

Both the bail and the crystal are bought from Italy.

I just came to an idea, to make a jewelry vocubabulary for a starter jeweler and that's exactly what I needed when I started!

Hello, lots of new jewelry.

So my classmate Anni (I have to do a longer story in the future) was doing a project called ReUse Republic. It's a project where people make new things out of old and/or broken which come from stores. Anni got a big box of broken jewelry. And she told me that she had a lot of material and she didn't have the time to make any more jewelry than she had done already.

So I went over and gathered some material from the 3 boxes she had got.

Went home and got crazy. I had to make all of these things for sunday.

Anyways I finished them and Anni took them to the designer.
I'm not 100% sure if these will be sold from 3.-5. February in Tallinn.

I apologize for some of the photos, cause my reflex camera camera broke down and I couldn't do one single shot anymore. And half of these are mad with a compact digital camera (wrote it right?) and they weren't 100% my standards, but I had no other choice , cause I had to take them to Anni already.

I have very little idea what are the beads or the pearls I used, but I'm sure the wires and chains and hooks are high quality.

Gemstones, semi-precious stones etc

So this time I wanted to talk about gemstones.

They are very very beautiful. But also rather expensive.

That's the reason I don't have many.

Some gemstones as amethyst can be found in geodes. A geode is a rock that is ordinary rock on the outside, but on the inside there are crystals. (Geood-kristallidega täidetud õõneskivim)

This is a very intresting subject cause there is an another mystery in a geode rock. But it's hard to tell the difference between an ordinary rock and a geode, you just have to crack it open.

Pretty intriguing, huh!?

What would you do if you found one of those?

But it's not that hard, there are shops everywhere you can buy cut or uncut rocks over the world. (Even in Estonia :).

DIY eyelash serum

Everybody wants long dark eyelashes, but it's not always as we want.

I have kind of a short but thick lashes. And I wish they were a little darker and longer.
I think that mascara does extra damage to lashes, but what can we do.. Still we use it.

I read that the lash serums that cost over 20€ don't do what they promise.
So here's a homemade reciepe for a lash serum. I'm still testing it, you have to use it for a month or so to see the changes, try for yourself, I'm gonna but the before and after pictures up, when a month has passed

So you'll need:

Coconut oil
Almond oil
Olive oil
An empty cleaned mascara tube

But equal amounts of the oils in the tube. Mix them together
Put the oil mixture on every morning when you wake up and at night before you go to sleep.

You can buy the oils from an aromatherapy shop etc, but on ebay too.
NB! They have to be natural not full of chemicals

Hello, I haven't posted for a long time, but now I decided to write my blog a little bit differently than in the past.

I want to write a bit different than the other jewelry blogger's do.

I have to admit I had a small crisis about my blog at the end of the last year. I was wondering why and how and stuff like that. I shouldn't care about any of the stuff others do or don't so I'm gonna write a bit more often than I did (that shouldn't be hard 2 posts in the last 2 months :O)

But a little bit different posts, cause at the moment I don't make that much jewelry. There are costs you know, and as long as I'm not selling, I can't produce a lot. I will still be making jewelry just for your information, yeah, just saying.

I don't even know what inspired me to do this, life I guess, cause I like blogging and writing about stuff, but I always seem to think that the content is not proper for my jewelry blog.

That's a lot of stupid talk, I know I'm never eager to read all of these long texts, but I appreciate all of you who read this through ;)

Hi, so I was presented a blog award by Charters. Thank you!

I love singing. Sadly I do it everywhere but, home, sometimes in the streets too. I'm also in the school's choire.
My first piece of jewelry I made 3 years ago was the green spiral polymer clay earrings: "Twist and twirl".
I would really-really like to go abroad for a year or more, just to get new experience... At the moment trips are like things to live for because it's a great break in the routine.
Sometimes when you give me rules and boundaries, I subconciously try to break and rebel against them. Lots of strict rules suit for very little people.
Friends are my most valuable things in life

Polymer clay special...

Is it just me or is some of your fellow bloggers updated editors with some mistakes again.. Never mind..
Anyway I have been writing this post for a week, because the photos were quite hard to load.

These are all polymer clay figures and flowers and faux stone, imitations.

DIY sweater shoes or boots

Oh yeah! That certainly made my day better. Blogger's updated editor is now working again, what a nice surprise...
But that's not what I wanted to talk about, I wanted to talk about my new high-heeled shoes. Which I love. But not loved very much before, they had too much details. You can make the same trick with all the shoes you can wear in the autumn and spring and ofcourse in the winter if it's warm enough.
The perfect not-enough-warm-day's boots

Sweater boots here they come. You'll need:

shoes, which you'd like to change completely
sweater's sleeves(I used quite big ones)
super glue
scissors
Thread, needle, pins
A sewing machine
(optional) buttons or ribbon

A)Find youself shoes which you'd like to change completely. Cut off the sleeves of the sweater if you haven't done it already. The bigger the better. Put the sleeve around the shoe and make sure it fits perfectly (especially around the heel if you chose heeled shoes)

1. Otsi endale kingad, mida muuta. Lõika kampsunil varrukad ära, kui sa seda juba teinud ei ole. Mida suuremad varrukad, seda parem ja kergem. Pane varrukas kingale ümber ja tee kindlaks, et varrukas ei ole liiga lai ja istub kinga peale ilusasti (kontsaga kinga peal tuleb eriti hoolikalt kontsa juurest parajamaks tegema).

B)If made sure the sizes and all that fits, take the sleeve off and turn it inside out (!important!) and put it on to a shoe just as shown on the picture
2.Kui kindlaks tehtud, et suurus ja asetus õige, siis võta varrukas ära, keera pahupidi(!tähtis!) ja pane tagurpidi kinga kylge, nii nagu pildil näidatud

C)Glue the edges with a superglue

3. Liimi ääred superliimiga kinni.

D)Turn the sleeve right side out again, now these soes should look like cool shoes already. If the glue doesen't hold some places apply more glue
4. Keera varrukas yle kinga jälle õiget pidi, nyyd peaksid kingad kinga moodi juba välja nägema. Kui kuskilt liim lahti tuleb, siis paranda.

G) Take some thread and go through all the little loops at the end of the sleeve. Sew the edge with a sewing machine and then turn the edge outwards so it won't strech. Secure it with pins and then sew again
5. Aja varruka silmadest niit või lõng läbi, igaks juhuks, et silmused hargnema ei hakkaks. Õmble äär õmblusmasinaga kinni. Keera äär väljapoole yhe keeru võrra ja õmble kinni, nii ei hakka ots venima.

E)There is a million possibilities how to end these shoes I turne the side down and sewed some buttons on and attached a ribbon. Possibilities are endless
6.On mitu võimalust, kuidas selliseid saapaid viimistleda, mina valisin sellise, kus keerasin ääre alla välja tagurpidi ja õmblesin paar nööpi ka kylge. Kuid kujutlusvõime annab vabad käed ja igayks võib viimistleda nii, nagu meeldib

DIY jewelry gift box

So I'm really considering selling my stuff on Etsy. But I had all the other need thing beside the jewelry gift boxes which are needed for shipping jewelry safely without damaging it.

So I spent a lot of time searching for boxes like these from online sellers, in the right size and looking right. Most of the boxes I found were too small or just looked cheap and screamed for bad quality.

Then I couldn't stand the thought anymore and suddenly stopped looking. I bought my self some cardboard and had a thought that maybe I could make my own boxes, just the right size just like the way I love

Siin on ehete kinkekarbid, mis ma ise valmistasin, sest ei leidnud mitte kuskilt õige suuruse ja välimusega karpe.

So I cut out just the exact size I needed 6,5x5,5x2cm

I think they turned out pretty good and I like the way they look, they're from recycled paper, saving our planet ;), if it's not already gone

Inside the boxes there are cotton for the jewelry to lie there like on a soft pillow
They are not 100% perfect because I'm not machine.

(Just a quick sentence to I like. "Nobody's perfect. I'm nobody. So I'm perfect")

These are the stencils I used for the boxes . The left on is the bottom part and the right one is the cover. You can do what ever sizes you want. The grey lines are the folding lines. Just fold the cardboard there and you'll realise how to put it together.

Hi all my lovely readers!

It has been awhile but not too long, blogger is kind of broken in my computer anyways and I can't use the updated editor. And it's really uncomfortable to use the old one again.
But I manage cause I love-love to write these posts.

Here are my "Icey flower" earring which are made of crystal bicone. The original ones are blue, but the second ones are green, and green is the best color for earrings when you have dark brown hair, blue goes for blondes, crystal clear for black hair but these are just my opinions, it depends on the tone and everything

Photography tips, all of the object in focus

Hey!
So you try to photograph your jewelry or accessories or anything with a macro lens...
But it's just frustrating how all of the object is not in focus. Small part of it is but the rest just fades away.. Are your photos similar to mine?:

When something can go wrong it does.. Just blur..

Accidentally I found this article on Etsy forum and it spoke about photography, and I thought that it was just what I needed. Before that I thought that I could never do photography like that when everything is in focus. But when I can do it you can!

Before this article I pretty much had all the settings automatic, but now I'm proud to say that I dare to use manual settings just as they fit the conditions.

These earrings are actually made a month ago when I discovered that you can do amazing figures with wire and some right tools like flat nose pliers and round nose pliers. I made some undefined shapes, two of each and later I attached the crystals. It's easy and you can do everything you want. and while wearing they are all light and twirling. I think there was some kind of a tool to make the two pieces identical but I love the little differences.

I almost forgot to talk about MIKA concert in Tallin on the 3rd of August. It was just wonderful. I'm not a fan but I liked it. A lot. It was just colorful in every possible way.
I just have to mention that rain has caught us too often past week: two times soakind wet and nothing to do about it.
Oh and I have an not amazing ability to ruin the best days with some things really bad .. like.. like being a bad girl in a bad way and getting caught by the bus controller's or bus police or smth like that. It really ruins the day..

P.S sry about that dust thingy in some of the pictures...

Seed bead balls, turtles

Hey!

I was with my cousin for two weeks and I couldn't post. But all good things have to end so she went back home today. As she says she is from the country side. She usually said : "Maalt ja hobusega". But I'm not able to translate that so it would sound as good.
We managed to go to listen to a concert in a valley in Tartu. Some estonian groups which (thinking of now)consisted only of men. Strange. Oh sorry 1 woman for 20 men too..

Golden angels, icey flowers and Football cup almost over

Football World Cup in South Africa is almost over. There's just one game left, the final.
Yesterday was the game for the 3rd place and Germany won Uruguay. It happened that I was on Uruguay's side. But it happened to be so that Germany won.
Today the Netherlands and Spain play. Hope the best team wins.

While doing the icey flower above there was a stage when I had to but them together so they looked the same as the "red bundle". That's where the idea came from. Used silver wire, thin one.

DIY: T-shirt: shred and weave

Shredded and weaved T-shirt

This DIY project will be about shredding and weaving your t-shirt to make it more intresting.
I went to a birthday, my aunt's one and it was a theme party so my mum ordered t-shirts and I was sure they were going to be boring so my plan was to shred and weave. I like the T-shirt.

Try this at home ;)
I'll add a bunch of pictures too, so it will be easier for you to do. But there will be estonian and english mixed
You'll need:

scissors
a boring T-shirt
A ruler

Vaja on:

kääre
igavat T-särki
joonlauda

Put your T-shirt onto the table and cut off the neck area. You can choose yourself how big u want neck to be 2cm from the original neckline for normal sized hole for your neck. More than 2 cm away if u want a bigger neck hole.

Pane oma T-särk lauale ja lõika ära kaela osa. Nüüd saad valida, kui suurt kaelaauku soovid, 2cm algsest kaelaaugust suurem normaalse suurusega kaelaaugu jaoks, rohkem kui 2cm suure kaelaaugu jaoks.

Fold the back of the shirt to half so u could cut it freely without damaging the front. Fold it so that the sides match

Again old earrings which I wasn't completely satisfied so I had to make them better and more beautiful.

I often do my jewelry over to make it better. Cause I want my things to be so I could be satisfied with them. I'm also showing you some rings with stones which names I don't remember.

At first they looked like this, nothing special.

I know it actually started a week ago but I just have to mention it. Because I'm a weird girl who really likes to watch football games and if there's one my TV is definetely on. I don't say that no girls watch it but I really enjoy it too.

My mood went up when 2 weeks ago I thought that yes, It's finally here 2010 football world cup in Republic of south Africa (in estonian simply LAV - Lõuna-Aafrika vabariik ;)).

My favourite player is Gianluigi Buffon, Italian goalkeeper. I don't even remember how I began to like him but it happened the previous World Cup. maybe it was that penalty in the middle of the game he saved. Don't remember. But in the game for gold I was on Buffon's and French side. How weird is that. Eventually Italy won so half win ;).

I also like Petr Cech, but sadly Czech republic didn't qualify. Sad but true.

Football even gave me the idea how to make these balls.

It's finally sumertime which I had been waiting for so long .. For 9 months actually. Cause school just isn't my thing. It takes my life away..

And I sure do wanna live so.

We don't have our school reports(if this is a word) yet bacause we were in Lithuania, Palanga for our trip.

It was so superb. All the sand and the sun. It was quite warm too, considered it was still spring.

We met so many wonderful people (from Paide ;)).. And that was so wonderful. Kinda' new. The first time we actually became friends with them..

Good memories..

The other night there was a class from Põlva, but we didn't talk to them much.

But our guide was a creepy lady.. She didn't care at all what we needed or the teachers said so, weird.

So.. yesterday there was Eurovision song contest in Oslo, Norway. I haven't watched it for 2 years properly, but this year I watched and found that last year's songs were a bit better with some exceptions.

Germany won. Lena.. She had great voice, memorable song too. Our commentator in Estonia (Marko Reikop) couldn't resist to say almost 15 times, that Lena's grandfather was estonian, so. It was pretty funny how everytime he said it we were like duhh, come on we heard you the first time...

I thought that the best song won..

The song is here (not live, because she didn't take part of the semifinal's)

The second was Turkey and MaNga - "we could be the same". Quite normal song. The tune haunted me for the rest of the night and today too. It was like a decent rock song.

Third was Romania what I didn't like so much. Paula Seling and Ovi - Playing with fire.

There was a news that the male singer's - Ovi's hand was injured at rehersal with fire. Irony huh?

I don't know which place Belgium was, but the man with guitar was pretty good, I really liked it. Tom Dice - Me and my guitar here.

There were some good songs more but I'll let them be. (Although denmark was so awful I shouldn't even say.

Greek singer was a little stiff, but that's a song contest not a dancing one.

Jessy Matador.. danced better than the dancers behind him, but I'm not sure he sang very much.

P.S Alexander Rybak is still handsome a sings verrry good ;). Though I still wouldn't be running after him like an usual 15-year-old girl.

Do you sometimes wonder whether to do something abnormal or not. I do. I have sometimes have some kinda thoghts like, what the hell why not, but when I do it, it may look like I'm an idiot. Soo ... yes I've done stuff like that and I have no regrets, no examples what I've done, but couple of years ago when I was like 10 or something I wanted to jump off of the cliff (no I'm not suicidal, far from that) to grab the trees tops to hang there (and I trulty believed that I wouldn't crash into the earth), I don't know why I wanted to do that, conclusion - I'm crazy!!

Yesterday I thought that there should be a show where people (like me) can really try out these crazy stuff like jumping off cliffs for adrenaline rush..

It's a busy time at school cause, you know, I'm finishing 8th grade and there is an exam, first one, only one this year and we were allowed to choose the subject. So every teacher talks about them and reminds the students who has chosen her/his subject. our class was almost half and half to maths and biology, strange, huh? So the exams day is on 28th of may. It's next friday.

I've had this idea for forever to write about 10 things but I thought it sounds silly in some ways.

Read them and laugh, cause I did and I usually do every one of these things on the lists when it's a normal day and not some kind of a boring day, u should try, it comes naturally in the end and it's f-u-n. :D

In the lower list there are things I don't do everyday, for example I can't dance ;).

Normal things. have to to be normal.

Take a shower
Brush your teeth to keep them bright white to smile
Eat a sandwich, Hey! People gotta eat.
Say hello to a friend
Do something physical to keep you fit, like ride a bike (Y)
Watch a good show on TV or computer
Think hard to solve one of your problems (step-by-step to problem free)
Hug someone
Do a good deed so you can feel nice in the evening
Read something intresting (like a good blog or something, u gotta find something intresting though)

DIY: Pearl or coctail ring

In my last post there was a Pearl ring I made, Now I'll teach you how to make it.
You'll need:

wire (I used 22 gauge, 0.6mm wide)
Pearl (or somekind of a rock or a gem or a semi-precious stone for coctail ring)
Ring mandrel or some other round thing that's slightly bigger than your finger

That's what you'll have to do

Cut some wire (~65cm) it depends on how much wire you want around your finger (point 3.)
Center the pearl on the wire and wrap the wire with the pearl to the ring mandrel (or the other round thing you got) half size bigger than your finger is.
Make 3-6 circles around the mandrel (or the other round thing u got). I made three circles.
Take it off the ring from mandrel (or the other round thing u got). You've got two loose ends of the wire. Wrap them around the wire circles (you can see mine just there where the wire separates to hold the pearl). Make 3-4 circles to fasten the ring.
Cut the edges with wire cutters.
It's ready! Now wear it!

Nüüd tee 3-6 ringi ümber mandreli (või millegi muu ümmarguse ), see mitu ringi sa tahad teha sellest sõltub alguses palju traati peab võtma.
Võta sõrmus mandreli pealt maha. Sul on kaks lahtist traadiotsa, mis torgivad. Keera need ümber tekkinud ringide sõrmuse pärlipoolsemas osas, seal kus traat eraldub, et kinni hoida pärlit (Vaata minu oma üleval).Tee 3-4 ringi, et sõrmust kinnitada.
Lõika otsad traaditangidega maha.

So, my jewelry is kind of my style. I haven't seen anyone making jewelry like this, I sometimes wonder where the ideas come from. Or where other people's ideas come from, is ir nature is it the materials or something else.
Why is everybody's jewelry different, why there isn't two jewelers whose jewelry is the same. Everybody's different and nobody's perfect (I sometime wonder, there's a nice sentence in English: Nobody's perfect, I'm nobody, so does it mean I'm perfect?).

Today I visited Camyland, it is the shop where estonian designers sell their jewelry, bags, clothes and accessories. Their work especially the jewelry is so different from mine, it's an another class (not that I think that mine is better or worse than theirs but it's just so different). I just wonder, go look for yourself when you live in Tartu, Estonia.

Snow is a blessing from heaven! cold

It's been 3 weeks, cuz I've been in Tenerife and snowboarding and skiing in Finland.
Yes, the temperature was 30°C in Tenerife and it was -5°C in Finland, but it didn't ruin anything.
Snow is just so awesome when you know what you're doing.
I'll talk about Tenerife later. At the moment I want to share my skiing trip.

So at first it was pretty awkward when I was on the snowboard, I couldn't turn and fell, I've been snowboarding for 3 years, but it was my 4th time on board so I'm not very experienced. But when you get it then there's no worries. I got it. No worries.
Even the tracks with big slopes, I snowboarded through them too. The only thing bad on snowboard is that you might not make it to the ski lift and have to jump to get there. There's no that kind of a worry on skis.
To the end of the trip I had done awesome jumps on skis and minor jumps on snowboard . And I made it without falling .

I went to Himos, here's the map.
But everything that's left from "keski-himos-projekti" was closed only the right side länsirinteet was open .

You need to do homework. Do you plan on watching a show and doing it during the commercials, but end up just watching them?

Do you ever try to peel oranges in one try?

Do you sometimes get annoyed that a lowercase "l" and capital "I" look the same in some fonts? See they do look a like.

In school, do you stop looking at the clock for a little while so that when you do look at it, more time will have passed?

Do you sometimes get paranoid that people around you can read your mind?

Do you like hearing the sound of dirt going into the vacuum?

It's nice to finally write again.
I've been sick so I couldn't do anything resonable, except watch TV for several days. Olympics 24/7, I'm sorry.
Actually I made some balls more, the red ones I bought from Italy, but the others I made myself. It kind of makes you addicted.

SO here are the earring I made with the red balls, only gold was propriate for them.
They are made of coral beads, whatever these are but they are quite heavy

DIY: How to screen print a T-shirt

I'll teach you how to make your own T-shirts with the things on them as you like. The T-shirts on shops are machine screen printed, but I'll teach you how to screen print a T-shirt (or something else) at home with easy materials.

You'll need:

A plain T-shirt

T-shirt

PVA glue

PVA glue

Fabric paint (like permaset)

Fabric paint

Thin permeable fabric (like organza) (Can be bought from ebay)

Thin permeable fabric, organza (It would be better for you to use a one without the dots or patterns)

12 in Embroidery hoop

embroidery hoops

A sponge
A pencil
A brush
Cardboard

Tavaline T-särk, ilma kirjade ja piltideta
PVA liim
Kangaliim
Õhuke kangas (vaata ülespoole)
Tikkimisrõngas
käsn värvi tupsutamiseks
pintsel
Harilik pliiats
paksemat pappi

So at first you'll need to print/draw the image or text you want on the shirt, you should do something simple at the beginning, it's easier to screen print that
Cut the fabric so it'll fit into the hoop. Place the fabric over the embroidery hoop and secure the hoop. It should be tight.
Put your frame over the drawing and trace around the image with a pencil
Take the PVA school glue and with a brush fill in the areas near the pencil lines you don't want the fabric paint to be on. The glue should cover the area from the line to ca. 2cm away from the lines. Leave it to dry. Your stencil is ready
Put a cardboard inside the T-shirt to avoid the fabric ink from transferring into the other side. Put the hoop with the fabric(where the picture is on) on the T-shirt. dip the sponge into fabric paint and stipple it on. You can create different colours by mixing the paint.
That's it, lift it up and let it dry, you can use the same stencil over and over again. Don't worry the shirt is machine-washable it won't fade.
To finish the shirt iron it over grease paper

Võta PVA liim ja pintsliga kata joonte ümber need alad, kuhu sa värvi pärast ei taha, liimi jooned peaksid olema umbes 2cm laiad, katma 2cm suurust ala pliiatsijoonte ymber. Jäta kuivama. Šabloon ongi valmis.
Pane suur papitükk särgi sisse, et vältida värvi kandumist särgi teisele poole. Nyyd pane tikkimisraam (koos PVAga ääristatud pildiga) riidega särgi peale. Kasta käsnake värvi sisse ja tupsuta särgile sinna kuhu tahad värvilisi kohti. Suruda ei ole vaja, õrnalt tupsutades kanna värv särgile Segades värve saad erinevaid toone.
Tõsta šabloon yles ja valmis ta ongi, lase kuivada. Šablooni saab kasutada nii palju kui soovid. Ära muretse särk on masinpesukindel ning värvid ei hääbu.
Särgi lõpetamiseks lase triikrauaga särk yle. Nyyd võid proovida raskemaid disaine.

First post this year has to be colorful and exciting so here it is.

Mysterious colours like these are extraordinarily beautiful in your ear.
Those light amethysts are mine, since october when I made them.
The next ones, dunno what colour they are, but they seem purple-ish most of the time in real life. They were a Christmas present for my aunt who really liked them.
Light Sapphire earrings and peridot (blue and green) earrings are waiting for a new owner, although I made those peridot ones ("Green power") for a special friend, but she haven't seen those yet ;).

Holidays has been a really relaxing time to do some jewelry and I have done a LOT. Sometimes used Swarovski and sometimes seed beads, so camera out and start taking photos, so I hope next week you'll see them.

And I think I have the perfect idea for MLJewelry signature Swarovski necklace, so beware :D

In Estonia there is also a TV show X-factor in UK and American Idol in US, It's called "Eesti otsib superstaari"(translation may be like Estonia is looking for a Superstar). Last night the winner was anounced, It was Ott Lepland Yeei. :D, It was the third season, but the first time a man won.

Exchange students!

Lately the exchange students topic has been very actual. I've been thinking about it and it seems really interesting to live one year abroad and experience other countries culture. in some ways it seems a little bit scary to be away from your family and friends for a year and go to a new place where you don't know anybody, but maybe I'm a bit young right now, but the other way it seems so-so exciting and nice and... I wouldn't want to go to places where the most want to go I'm different in that way, like Germany (I can't speak German too cause my optional subject is Russian) lots of students from Estonia have gone to Germany for their exchange year. I would like to go Italy or somewhere where people speak Italian, because that way I would learn that language, which is really beautiful and I can speak a little but not much.

haven't been home for two weeks, so coulndn't blog.

I was far-far away, in Italy , yeah.

I did some jewelry shopping there, have a lot more Swarovski crystal and beads and pearls now.

Swarovski bicones 4mm, they're small but I have lots of 'em.

I can get SOME photos right can't I. It's good right, shows the details, Too bad no siam or jonquil(red and yellow) crystals aren't on the picture, would've looked great.

Perfect bails, only from corso Vittorio Emmanuelle II, Rome, Italy. They make every crystal look perfect.

Some more Swarovski pendants and some intresting beads or smth like that and of course murano glass beads.

Tunnen, et tahan ka eesti keeles kirjutada, pole aimugi millest see, lihtsalt tunnen vajadust ;). Pole siis ammu kirjutada saanud, Itaaliast tulen. Moe kaupade suureksportija, midaiganes see ka ei tähendaks. Aga kristalle sain küll, igasuguseid, Swarovski kristalle, Murano klaaspärleid, mageveepärleid on ka mingid vääriskivist pärlid.
Kui aga külastasin päris Swarovski poodi, kus juba valmisehted, kukkus lõug kolinal keldrisse, hindadest muidugi, silm jõi Swarovski kristallist lillele, 150 euro, seal polnud vist midagi alla 100 euro.

Real Swarovski Crystals or fake glass ?

Do you know how to tell a difference between real Swarovski Crystals and fake glass beads. Some sellers sell fake glass beads as Swarovski. Have to know how to tell a difference so you can't be fooled with cheap glass as quality Swarovski crystals. There is a complete different branch in jewelry making for glass beads, but they are still not Swarovski. Here's some tips to notice the difference:

Swarovski® crystals are generally not strung when offered for sale.

Original Swarovski® packaging - dependant on size, the bulk packages will range from 10 gross to 1/2 gross, in well-branded, sealed envelopes. The newest Swarovski® bulk packaging is sealed with an authenticated silver toned hologram saying "CRYSTALLIZED."

Swarovski uses technology and machines that give just that right cut to each and every crystal. Swarovski® crystals are perfectly uniform. Since they are machine cut, each crystal is the same. This means that the height, width and slope are consistent. A hand polished imitator bead will not have as uniform a cut. You may also notice different dimensions from bead to bead.

In addition the facets on a genuine crystal will line up. Imitations will not meet at the points. A Swarovski will have all the points meeting. Examine the crystal. You will see a perfect meeting of the points.

If you look at the surface of a genuine Swarovski®, you probably won't see any scratches. The "imitations" often have scratches, swirl marks ("oily" looking surface).

When you look inside the crystal, you will see no bubbles. If you see any bubbles, you know immediately that it is a fake.

One of the best ways to find a fake, is to put it next to the real thing. A Swarovski will outshine a crystal that is not a genuine Swarovski. The other crystal might be pretty, but there is something that just doesn't look the same.

Color Names - This might be a strange one to some, but the color names are specifically chosen by Swarovski and something we always look at is, what color name is the company using.

When searching for colors you might find some generic names like yellow or red or blue but these are not colors that Swarovski has produced. Swarovski names their colors Citrine, or Red Topaz, or Montana Sapphire instead of more generic use names.

Swarovski crystals are the most sparkly crystals, they are machine cut and shiny-shiny-shiny.
They consist minimum of 31% of lead making the crystal so pure.
Swarovski crystals are from Austria.

Here are my first jewelry made of Swarovski crystals. It's hard to get Swarovski crystals in Estonia, but I made it and I have quite a plenty of them atm.

DIY earring holder

I decided to share my do-it-yourself projects with the readers.
I have a lot, like I mean LOT of earrings and if they're in bags or boxes, how can I choose which to wear, so I made an earring holder to hang on the wall and to save some space.

You'll need:

An empty frame
scrap window screen (the one you need to have on the windows for an insect-free home in the summer)
scissors
Staple gun

Find an empty frame.
Put the frame on the screen and cut the scree around the frame.
Staple the screen to the frame, hold it tight and staple the corners.
Cut the unnecessary screen
Attach a ribbon or some other string with which you can hang it on the wall.
Hang it on the wall hang your earrings and you're done.
That's it! easy and useful!

Klammerda võrk tühja raami külge, esmalt nurgad, tõmba võrk koguaeg pingule.
Klammerda ka ääred, et võrk korralikult püsiks.
Lõika üleliigne võrk ära-
Kinnita pael või mõni muu nöör, et saaksid raami seinale riputada
Riputa raam seinale ja raamile riputa kõrvarõngad
Valmis ta ongi!

Hi!

I've been very busy practising guitar playing.
Practising the chords by yourself and playing them over and over again gets boring when you often do it.
But when you're a beginner like me you can't play normal songs cuz the fingers don't move as fast as you would want them to (or are my fingers just slow, but they won't go where I want them to be).

The other day I was just practising with my guitar and found some very helpful videos from youtube to make this learning fun. They are easy and very playable for beginners, super beginners too :). There are some finger exercises too. Hope they are as useful to you as they were to me.

Hey ya!

Pictures of my new jewelry and some of my old jewelry. I thought more quality pictures were better, because you need quality camera and a little more experienced photograph than me. So I asked my dad to do them, he knows what's light and the pictures did come a little better than mine. (Still some photos here are taken by me :))

A Ring, my first one. At the moment a lot of things are my first so my first wire wrapped ring, used a random big bead, as you can see, the bead is rather large and silver wire.

As you see I got addicted and made two other bead rings. On with a pink butterfly and the other with a blue one

I don't know if the wire I used to make this ring is gold filled or gold plated, but it's definetely gold something.

Hey!

It's been a busy week, as always. I haven't had time to post anything.
School, swimming, studying etc.

On Tuesday I needed to create my blog’s header, so I had to learn how to use photoshop, photo manipulation and how to make a human being slimmer. So I’ll post the before and after pictures here, I know they aren’t perfect, but that wasn’t my goal.

And Wednesday I visited an Art shop (Riia mäel, tähe street), which sold almost everything I needed for my jewelry ,silver and gold wire, ear hooks, clasps, polymer clay etc.

The only thing I couldn’t get from that store were normal sized beads (only seed beads available). So I bought some jewelry stuff from there: 16m silver wire, 6m gold wire, elastic thread, silver and gold spring clasps. It all cost about 16$.

Now I need beads lots of them: glass, swarovski crystal, pearls I can’t even name them all.

On that day we also went to the cinema with our class to see Final Destination 4, it was kinda’ creepy, to see people's organs spill out and body parts come off :S. But so absurd it made us laugh some times.

P.S I made some new jewelry, my first bracelets. I’ll post them soon.
